The Day the Boys became Pirates-August 2012

What an awesome day it was!  We crashed the Dalton's family reunion at Donnell. Greg let everyone drive that day.

 The boys perpetually have their thumbs up, which means "go faster" in tubing language.

 Both boys knee boarded for the first time and did so great.  Kai did a 360 and got a huge cheer from all around the lake.

 Bo really wanted to learn how to swim this summer and gave it her very best effort.  Next year will be her year.

Beach nap spot.

Pirate Battle!  The boy's new favorite game to play at the lake.  One "ship" has the "treasure" which is a tennis ball and the pirates from the other ship have to try to steal it.  The boys were fearless mateys.
