A Serious Fishy Funeral

Kai's fishy "Blue Lightening" tried to escape when the tank was getting cleaned and was without air for too long.  We got him back in the water but it was too little too late and 10 minutes later we had to scoop him out.  A matchbox was the perfect size.

We found a good spot in the back yard and dug a little hole.

 We buried it and out a little pile of rocks on top to memorialize the spot.  Then we said a few words in parting.

 Koa said that he didn't think that we would be able to play with any friends or do anything fun for the rest day because everyone was too sad.  Love these sweet kids.
