Lili Mom and Papa Dean's Visit

Lili Mom came on New Year's Day. She was tired but still had energy to huggle with the boys and Bo.

The next day she opened her suitcase and kept finding presents for the kids throughout the day. Auntie Circle sent 4 lobsters one for each kid including Lola!

And then there was the amazing "Fur Real" kitty cat.

Papa Dean spent an after noon with Sunshine and Lola at the hospital. There was a long talk followed by a long nap. It was lovely.

Lili Mom spent the nights at the hospital and spent a little bit of time gazing at her newest granddaughter.

Papa Dean and Bo kept busy on the fix-it list. She felt like she helped out quite a bit : )

Later she found time to brush Lili Mom's hair.

Papa Dean helping with the snow. It was the first time we had seen snow being swept. He's lived in California a little too long : )

A lovely ride on Mount Desert Island.

Goodbyes at the airport. She was all smiles till we drove away and then the tears came...

We are so grateful that Lili Mom and Papa Dean could come and be with us. We didn't get pictures of the amazing murals Papa Dean and the boys drew or the dinosaur games or the Bo flips. Let's just say it was a happy time filled with lots of hugs and laughs. Thank you for all of the yummy meals, dishes and clothes washed, bathrooms cleaned, school lunches packed, walls patched, toilet paper holders rehung, stools mended, and everything else you did for us while you were here. But mostly thank you for being with us during our special time. We miss you.
