The Tadpoles

We went to the tadpole pond to round up some frog eggs.
They were slimy and looked like a bunch of black dots.

We brought them home and watched them. They turned into comma shapes and got bigger and then they died for some reason. When our neighbor's hatched we adopted some and brought them across the street and watched them for a little while. They didn't make it either. So a few days ago we went to see how the other tadpoles in their pond were doing and they were about an inch big. We brought Bob III home to stay the night. We will take him back tonight. Still wondering if we will try again next year : (
