Happy Birthday Sunshine...AGAIN

Why is it that it seems like it takes forever for the boys birthday to come around again, but blink and it's momma's birthday one more time. They are kind of starting to add up a little. There was no cake on the actual day but the day after Cheryl made THE amazing Ghirardelli's chocolate birthday cake and some candles were blown out across the street.

So a few days later the boys decided that they had been robbed of the traditional making of the birthday cake and went and got out all manner of baking things and started "making a cake" with a cake mix AND baking powder, baking soda, oil, eggs, flower, sugar....luckily they were caught before they started adding all of these things together. They did, however insist on putting in butterscotch, white chocolate and milk chocolate chips AND cut up pop-tarts. As you can see they are pretty pleased with themselves.

And then we ate it. Some of us with more drama than others.
