The Birth Day

7:15

7:20

7:22
They had to work for their booty this year. When they woke up they found an arrow and had to follow the arrows all over the house...

...until they discovered the secret hiding spot.

Jason had to go to an early meeting so we let the boys open one present and then made them wait till he got home to open the rest. The boys opened the presents they got from Jerry and Judy Booth.
Kai made a present holder while he waited for Koa.

Koa quite excited about all of the animals that will "grow" when placed in water.

Casual Observer

They had to put some animals in water immediately and then they waited for them to grow...

...and waited.

Then we had the traditional waffles with "fire on top". Mom didn't plan ahead well and we didn't have candles so we just used matches-weird but a little funny.

Then Daddy came home and it was go time.

Jason went to Walmart the night before to look for one specific present but found some amazing foam swords and brought them home. The boys were grateful : )

Kai was pretty sure his sword would open the box from Grandma Betty.

Fun birthday wishes from Grandma Betty!

And the pies de resistance-the race track.

Of course Dad had to give it a go.

Sugar Daddy gave the boys licorice for their birthday and started baby girl down the slippery slope of sugary goodness.

Yeah-candy corn absolutely belongs on a birthday cake.

A fun ending to a fun day.
We are so glad the boys were born.
