A Snowy Day in Maine

It's our first good snowy day in Maine and Mom's got us busting our humps again, shoveling snow!

OK enough of this mumbo jumbo let's go sledding!

Hey, can I get a little help over here?

Heave!

OK so it wasn't the longest ride ever but it was fun enough to go back for seconds.

Then it was time for a little snowball fight. Koa started it and kept it going.

Then Kai decided it was time to make a snowman...

You know what this guy needs is some hair and some arms...

And a carrot nose.

The snow wasn't really snowman snow so Koa decided to build a "sand castle."

Then he decided that it needed a flag on top...

What the heck, let's give it some really long arms and a carrot nose...

Now it's a "person sand castle!"

A serious snow plow for serious snow.

Sunshine got in on the action too.

Hot chocolate and banana oatmeal muffins, to warm up after fun in the snow.

what a fun photo essay. you will have to make a book out of it for when they are older. i am glad some people are enjoying the snow this winter (even if it isn't me).
