A bunch of people in our neighborhood got together and we tie dyed orange t-shirts and then drew jack-o-lantern faces on them. While we waited for them to dry (so we could do the faces) we had a barbecue and some fun. The finished t-shirts can be seen on the previous post.

One of the goofy things about living in Maine is people like to put junk out on their front lawn with a "free" sign. We are guilty of perusing most such free opportunities and sometimes end up with someone else's "free" junk. This little snow sled is one such item. First the kids tried to slide down the grassy hill which worked OK. Then they tried to pull each other which didn't work out so well.
Then they figured out that big people could not only get the sled to move but they could pull them all over the yard. They wore this guy out....
and this guy....
and her too.
A good time was had by all, it felt very neighborly, it's one of the reasons we love our new town-people still do stuff like that here.
